Ian Chivers is a highly experienced Consultant Advocate who practises exclusively in family law proceedings across the South East.

Ian trained in Mayfair, London and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1979. Over the course of a long career in law, he has held senior positions including Head of Civil Litigation in a Kent practice and later partner in a three-office South East Kent firm specialising in civil litigation and family law.

Ian now focuses on advocacy in family proceedings, bringing many years of courtroom experience to cases involving matrimonial disputes and domestic abuse injunctions. His background gives him a strong understanding of both the legal issues and the practical realities clients face when proceedings become contested.
